Registrar – Senior High

Reports to: Principal, Assistant Principal
Supervises: N/A
Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent
At Least (1) Year of Office Experience
Job Goal: Principal’s secretary, keeper of grades/transcripts & payroll
Provide support to enhance the smooth and efficient operation of the High School Principal and Office.
Employment Terms: 12 Months, 8 hours per day
7:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M., exclusive of a lunch
Occasionally, special arrangements may be made with the
supervisor if the situation warrants. Supervisor approval is required
if the contract day varies.
FLSA Classification: Nonexempt
Evaluation: Annually by Building Principal

Occasional Requirements: Walk, reach with hands and arms overhead, above shoulder and horizontally; lift/move up to 25 pounds
Visual Requirements: Close, color, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
Hearing/Speaking Requirements: Adequate to exchange information

I Daily Jobs
- Enter Credit Recovery grades in Historical Grades as they come in.
II Monthly Jobs
- Keep Faculty Meeting attendance
III Once a Semester Jobs
- Enter PTC grades
- Run 9 week grades & semester grades
- Print & file transcripts
- Honor Rolls – Superintendent’s & Principal’s
- Run Class Rankings by Class
IV Once a Year Jobs
- Order Diplomas
- Academic Awards
- Valedictorian & Salutatorian
- Pins & Certificates
- Letters & Bars
- Staff Evaluations. Make sure we have copies of all staff evaluations – certified & support. Send originals to Human Resource at the BOE.
- Staff Recommended for Rehire list.
- Graduation Count by Ethnic Code
- Prepare Pre-Enrollment and Enrollment Work Line
V Jobs as Needed
- Enter data for new or reentering students
- Keep copies of certificates & transcripts for all certified staff
- Assist Principal as needed
- Assist Assistant Principals as needed
- Assist with Main Office phones as needed
VI Performs all other tasks as supervisor may assign.
